About the ALATUS Group
The ALATUS Group is an independent organisation dedicated to advancing human wellbeing, knowledge, and the long-term future of life on Earth.
The Group brings together publishing and philanthropy as complementary instruments for creating a positive and lasting impact.
The Group's purpose is to foster a future in which knowledge is shared freely, human wellbeing is strengthened, scientific progress is encouraged, fundamental rights are respected, and the natural environment is protected for generations to come.
Through its publishing activities, Alatus Publishing Limited develops, produces, and donates books to share the ideas of the Group's founder, philanthropist Lady Ana Ogden, whose work, A Day of Life, was first published in 2026. Its mission extends beyond traditional publishing by using books as tools to foster dialogue and intellectual freedom.
The philanthropic work of Alatus Group transforms ideas into action. And as part of this mission, the first 1,000 printed copies of A Day of Life were donated and distributed to universities, libraries, scientists, and environmental groups in every country as a way of sharing the author's ideas with a diversity of cultures, faiths, and ethnic communities around the world.
In furtherance of its philanthropic purpose, the Group supports two charitable foundations by assisting with fundraising and by bringing awareness to their causes:
The Sir Robert Ogden Charitable Foundation, which has a long history of philanthropic works in England in the fields of medicine and education.
And the Vis Pro Bono Charitable Foundation, a worldwide charitable foundation, to be registered in England, which will be dedicated to advancing scientific research, environmental stewardship, human rights, and other initiatives that promote human progress and global wellbeing.
Together, these activities reflect the central purpose of the ALATUS Group to generate ideas and support knowledge and projects that contribute to a more enlightened, sustainable, and prosperous future for all.
